Conversion Kit - Solid Flywheel for R53 Cooper S and R52 Cooper S
Like many modern cars, the R53 Cooper S was supplied with a dual mass flywheel. The biggest drawback of the dual mass flywheel is that it is an expensive part, and cannot be machined to extend its useful life. This kit replaces the dual mass flywheel with a single mass flywheel, and includes a sprung clutch disc to compensate for the fact that there is no power pulse damping from the flywheel.

Kit includes a solid flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts and release bearing.
